'The club managed to run 11 major internal competitions again during the year plus the Novice Cup and everyone who participated enjoyed the games they played. We had a very enjoyable finals week, with good, bad and indifferent weather, There was a good number of spectators despite the changeable weather conditions and some excellent games played . ​A big Thank You to Tony & Sandra Carter and Mark Emery for all the hard work in organising and running the events, the markers and members that sorted tea & biscuits on those long match days' ​
