Winning Ways

Quite a few of you will already know that on Wednesday Lynn Bryant and Lisa Rendall won the semi final of the Gloucestershire Bowls Association ladies championship pairs which means that, not only will they play in the county final, but also that they have qualified to play in the national finals at Leamington Spa during August.

This is a notable achievement and they will be Bradley Stoke Bowls Club's first representatives at this level. The club is extremely proud of them and all our hopes will be for their continued success at those championship finals.

Well done Lynn and Lisa.

GROUNDWORKS VOLUNTEERS.

A great deal of maintenance work was carried out in the latter part of 2023 within and outside of the Club organised by George Eland.

Further,  bespoke electric fencing to prevent damage to the green from local wild life was also expertly installed by our member,  This has now made significant improvement, together with hard work from the external green maintenance staff, to the green for the forthcoming 2025 season and beyond.

Further work prior to the start of each season to improve the green's  surrounding areas will continue to be carried out by George and a small group of dedicated workers.
