About
Bradley Stoke Bowls Club was officially opened on Saturday 1st May 2010 by David Bryant CBE. The Club is situated next to the Baileys Court Activity Centre and has been established by agreement with the Bradley Stoke Town Council who maintain the green.
Rooms can be booked by the Club in the activity centre who's facilities are shared with the Bradley Stoke Cricket Club on weekends and occasionally during the week. The cricket club manage the bar facilities and it is usually open at the end of the majority of club matches. Club members are welcome to use the bowls rinks from 9.00am until dusk during the bowls season when they are not being used for matches or undergoing maintenance.
As a mixed club the majority of our fixtures are friendly mixed games, however we also have two men's and one ladies league team.
We also run a number of social events during the autumn / winter period.
A lovely original watercolour painting of the Club in action produced by our long standing member Arthur Allan.
