If you are looking for a friendly, sociable, outdoor game then Bowls could be the game for you.

The Club welcomes new members with or without any bowls experience.

We provide both recreational and competitive bowls with a full calendar of friendly fixtures against local clubs, one ladies and two men’s league teams.

Founded in 2010 and affiliated to:

Bowls England / Gloucester Bowls Association MEN / Gloucester Bowls Association WOMEN / The City and County of Bristol Bowling Association 

 2021 END OF SEASON REVIEW

The outdoor bowls season has ended and the members are looking forward to the Annual General Meeting to be held on 12th November.

It will be a chance to reflect on another challenging year in which the 2021 membership was down on the pre-covid level.

However, there were a number of highlights:

Several new bowlers came to the Monday Night Club for taster sessions and a number decided to join the Club.

Even with reduced players all leagues teams both ladies and men had a good season.

The ladies came 2nd in their league and both newly promoted men’s teams were competitive in their leagues.

The internal competitions saw a number of highly competitive finals and trophies will be presented at the forthcoming AGM. For full results and images please click here

The President Bob Wilkins will be reporting on a successful Fun Day which was attended by a large number of members including some would-be new ones. They raised over £600 to help offset the reduction in Club income.

The Club will be actively supporting the 2022 Bradley Stoke Festival with a stall and taster sessions on the Sunday.

​

The Club is also looking into developing further its recruitment of members and possibly running a coaching course next year details of which will be published here.
