The competition for the Presidents Shield took place on the 22nd of August with fine dry warm weather.  A great day enjoyed by all who attended.

Below are images of the finals contest between Gill Kemp and John Gallagher in a closely fought match. 

Having tied the match after the statuary 15 ends it was John who finally maintained a 2 shot advantage on the additional knock out end to secure the win.

Well done to both players for making it such an excellent and exciting match of bowls to watch.
